    Hi,
Does anyone know places in ireland where one can get a vinyl pressed from a cd at a reasonable price? Thanks.

Dunno if theres too many places that do vinyl in Ireland, most people have em done in the Czech Republic or Germany if i remember correctly. Its still expensive though roughly 1000 Euro for 500 Pressings

Bomb Idol is right, no where in Ireland does it, and if they did they would charge extortionate prices. A few friends got it done in Czech Republic, super quality vinyl too. Or you could try the ads in the back of NME, saw a few in there for that recently

you can buy a vinyl burner for your pc but it uses softer than normal vinyl (you need an industrial type machine to press normal vinyl) and as a result they scratch easily and the music wears off really quickly. Plus the machine itself costs an arm and a leg

Saw one a few years ago, but it just worked off an audio source, not just a PC and it was around £4000

You're also better off getting any transfer from the original masters as the sonic advantages of Vinyl would be under utilised by transferring straight from CD.

The lads on THumped might be able to help with vinyl.
