How the hell did TV3 manage to miss the beginning of the game tonight after having an extra half hour to do with as they pleased.

As for John Toshak, i have never heard so much piss being spouted by the one person, when was the last time he seen any scottish teams play.

TV3 are sh!te, from top to bottom. They missed the start cos they thought they had time for an ad break as the kick-off was delayed (for those not watching) but typically they got it wrong. Toshak last saw Scottish football whenever TV3 last featured Celtic!

Did anyone see Sky Sports Xtra go to ads at the same time as Sky Sports 2?
Which meant it was 20 minutes into the second half of the Valencia - Anderlecht game. A bit odd.

    TV3 is a joke.

Packie Bonner is not a TV presenter, he's more wooden than Pinocchio.

I was well p*ssed off that they insisted on Toshack talking through the Celtic faithful's first rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone", even the famous roar couldn't drown out the boring tosser. Nice to see they managed to eclipse the Champions League anthem with their second attempt though...

Maybe Packie Bonner is "more wooden than Pinocchio" but I'd say he has more of a clue what hes talking about then the twats that RTÉ have on.

Dont know you, but I dont know anyone whose opinion on football that I respect that would agree with you. He is terrible. He has half an idea about playing in goals and every piece of "analysis" is referenced by the goalkeeper. Introducing PSG Packie said "I dont know any of these players." At least Toshack, inane as he is, was able to talk about Mendy and Helder. It must be a killer being Darren Frehill, Stephen Cullinane, or Des Curran, and have that plank brought in to present the soccer coverage, when any of the three would do a immeasuarbly better job.

Yes, but as a TV presenter he is a joke.It was excruciating waiting for the Celtic-Barca match to start last night, Bonner hadn't a clue what to say.

Like the sig by the way.

Chippy is involved with the youth set-up at Arsenal, so I'd say he knows quite a bit actually.

Giles and Brady have forgotten more than packie could know about football.

Also if anyone listens to Brady he usually gets things right .
Although this does require immense concentration because of his boring voice .
