Well, I've got a Fender Champ and Champ 12 that don't exactly need repair but I will want to modify and service them, and I've also got a speaker cabinet that dosent work that I want to fix.

I remember that guy being pretty hopeless. Around six months ago I was going to buy a VOX aC30 off him. All he did was screw me around for about three weeks, constantly saying, yeah it'll be ready next week and giving no definite answers. I've never gotten anything repaired or modified by him so I can't comment on the quality of his work but he didn't SEEM to have a large ammount of technical knowledge when I rang him up and gave specific questions. Maybe this was perhaps he wished to keep technical talk to a minimum in order to prevent me being confused or some thing like that. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I reckon he never had the said AC30 but was only waiting for it to come in or something.

He just fixed an old 1960's vox for me. he did a great job, the amp sounds sweet. I have just dropped in another amp that is pretty knackered. I'll post the results when i get it back. There is only 2 or 3 amp repair guys in dublin anyway, connor farren and mark levins of aladdins amps.
