MD to PC

    I understand that transferring audio from a MD to PC is not supported by Sony software, but wondering if anyone has an alternative method. I have a Sony Net MD recorder. The recordings are my own..choral stuff.

    A digital optical-in(if u have one on ur sound card) should do the trick

    or if you don't, line out to the microphone connection on your sound card?

    I intended to use a laptop with standard audio i/o unfortunately. I have an audigy platinum on another PC which has the optical in as far as I know. I haven't used it before though. I presume some of the supplied software will facilitate the upload and and any editing ?
