    I went to a mind, body and spirit conference a couple of years ago in the RDS where this english guy and Russell watshisname (the astrologer with the dickybow that used to be on tv) held a seminar which touched on all different aspects of the metaphysical. Russell said that anyone can become a Medium - it is like tuning into a radio, learn once and you can do it for ever more. Can anyone enlighten me as to if this is correct and does anyone know where they do classes to teach it?

    Anyone can be become a medium but I don't think it's safe. As far as I know, good spirits have no interest in possessing mediums and don't generally come close enough to the physical realm to be able to. You're far more likely to become a medium to a bad spirit who will pretend to be whoever you're trying to contact and setting yourself up for trouble.

    Like the other posts have already stated, anyone can be a medium but its like playing a game with a ouija board.
    Most of the mediums cliam to give messages via their guides, like Derek Acoraha's sam..
    but tbh..its dirty work and can wreck your head.

    Thanks for responses. I dont agree with your saying. I have been to mediums and any of them will tell you that they make contact with the spirits for people who need to talk to loved ones to obtain messages, to get re-assurance, self-help whilst helping the process of grieving etc. etc. Ouja boards are for black spirits and should be avoided.

    Dont agree that mediumship (done properly) is harmful, but there are some dodgy 'psychics' out there and they are harmful. Its not something to get into for a laugh, anyone thinking about it needs to have their head screwed on! (Ok im waiting for the jokes on that one...)
