Ok here's my prob - I mainly wear skatey runners with loads of padding but yet again I've worn the padding down inside!!! The inside of my shoe at my ankle is worn down to the hard plastic support bit so it's not v.comfy. :( Does anybody else have this prob - the runners were the best part of €100 and i've only got them abt 5 months!! I can't afford to buy another new pair of runners so I'm looking for ideas - do you think I could stick something inside....?

    At the ankle? Hmm, curious.
I wear Vans most of the time and the padding at the back of the shoe is getting worn away from the constant up down motion of the shoe moving up and down when I walk.
The only solution I can think to this is actually tying them properly, but that just ain't gonna happen.
I don't know if you can get anything to put in the side of the shoe.. I've only ever seen things to go in the bottom... Hrm.

5 months seems a bit short to have that kind of weardown... and for €100. Most curious, don't sound like very high quality shoes to me. Or you're just using them too much and need to lose your life and start living infront of a computer. ;D

They're Osiris ones thou!! And I've had DC and Es - they all wear away at the back like you said yours are! The only walking I do is around work and around town - I have a motorbike so I usually drive everywhere else! :p

A pair of shoes i used to have, used to cut that part of my ankle.. so what i did was wear a plaster.. but it can be annoying to be putting one on everyday.
You could just stick something cushiony an small at the back of your shoes.
