    hey i'm thinking of doing Bu-jutsu because i thinks it's close to me what do you think of it?

    Bujutsu litterally means "warrior skills" in Japanese and is a catch-all term for combat orientated diciplines that include jujutsu (grappling), taijutsu (body movement) and various weapons etc. It could also include horsemanship, swimming, or any physical skill a medieval japanese warrior may need to know!

    It usually is not a term used in a Japanese martial arts school as it is too general (and probably not very good japanese)

    I have also heard of a kickboxing school in Irleand using it in there name... which is a bit misleading to say the least.

    If you can provide us with more info about the club you are talking about I am sure someone here could help more.

    thanks for replying. The only info i really have on where it is, is from a friend who said it was in dundrum recreation centre but i haven't had time to check it out. So thats pretty much all i know, but no worries as soon as i do have time i'll prob just run up and take a look. thanks again pearsquasher
