any skate/bmx shows in oct/nov

    I'm going to cork ireland in october to november and I love everything about skateboardning.
    would anyone know.. where to go, good skatespots or shows?

    dont know about shows etc but there's meant to be a really good (for irish standards) skate park in killkeny or near waterford somewhere.
    It's called the quarry, it's run by a go-karting track.
    Whether waterford/killkeny is near cork i dont know as i never done geography after i moved to ireland.
    Also there's a park or 2 in dublin, ramp city and ramp & rail may be more now. Ramp city used to let bmx-ers in not sure if they still do.
