well hello there yourself,could some mighty guru please tell me why i keep being disconnected on my ancient 56 modem.Every 15 minutes on the button.I am pretty sure its the settings....somewhere in the bowels of windows 98SE,ive tried a different phone line in a different location,but to no avail. help..

Check your connection properties, it should have "idle time before hanging up" somewhere there. Make sure its set to never
