    Simple enough.


    Ihave been through 5 pc's in my home i have had 100's of problems with them all and never has windows help actually helped me with a single problem.


    So has anyone here ever found windows help?

    once, back with windows 98

    it was a minor direct3d problem though...drivers or something stupid...

    once to find out what a errcr number code was, i think it was a 611(remote access connection manager not started)

    no, dont think it ever has, now i just go straight to the net.


    My floppy drive isnt working

    It has helped countless premium rate tech support lines rake in the cash.

    everytime ive tried asking it for help within 2min im at the:

    "Windows cannot help you any further" messeage...and im closer to solving the problem...so no it hasnt helped..

    thank god for the net :D

    Never used the windows help but the Office help is much improved. Theres so many damn features now that I need to look up the help to find out where everything is!
