Ran a quick game last night using the new rules. It's odd, it's still GURPS, right down to the bone, but somehow there's less clutter getting in the way of the enjoyment. Last night's test was completely improvised with no real planning at all, and it went as smoothly as any other game I spent weeks preparing. The players formed much the same opinion as myself, and I'm really looking forward to more 4th ed goodness. Now, if only I can save up for the Basic set deluxe edition with leatherbound books signed by the creators. It must be mine!
