Re-installing XP on RAID0 drives

My PC has been getting a bit slow and problematic. Also with the release of SP2, what better time to do a fresh install. Thing is, I have partition my drive to 3 separate drive and drive C is for windows only and my hhd is set up with RAID0. I want to reinstall XP fresh on C but I dont want to lose anything I have on D or E drive. Is this possible. I had assume its possible but then I just realised that when installing XP, I have to put in a disk for SATA so that may be a problem.

This shouldn't be a problem. Once you press F6 to install additional drivers and setup prompts you for them it should diaplay the partition structure of the RAID and you should be able to either leave the current file system intact on C: or you can delete the C: partition and start fresh. Either way the data on D: and E: will be fine.

Wouldnt installing the SATA drivers again means I am installing a new hdd? I wouldnt want to make my RAID array break.

No, all installing the driver during the setup phase of the XP installation does is enables access to the controller. What's attached to the controller is whatever RAID configuration you specified in the controllers BIOS.
Trust me, it will be ok ;)
