C4 Documentary "The 9/11 Conspiracies"

Did anyone see this, jeez i thought it was brill. Im totally in shock at some of the things people were saying. Wanna go search the net now for more info on these conspiracies. Anybody know of any good sites??

What kinda things were they saying?
was it all taken from Michael Moores stuff or did it have some new stuff?

There was nothing about Michael Moore or his opinions mentioned at all actually.. One of the facts that i remember exactly is..

In the 1 year before 9/11, 67 planes went off course. As soon as any plane went off course, fighter jets went up straight away and guided the planes back on course.
On 9/11, 3 planes went off course (2 for the Twin Towers & 1 for the Pentagon) and not one fighter jet went up.

There were other points made out about how the American Airlines Flight 77 did not hit the U.S. Defense headquarters in Washington because the size of the hole in the Pentagon was too small. Instead people have concluded that the impact was caused by something much smaller - like a surface to air missile - that was fired by the American government itself.

I'm just after finding a great site now so i'll be off reading that all day!

That isn't "Moore spiel" - he made it clear that he got the inspiration for that whole Bush/Saudi part of Fahrenheit 9/11 from the book "House of Bush, House of Saud" by Craig Unger:

Do you think an aluminum jet crashing at 850km/h in a re-enforced concrete & kevlar building walls, plus all concrete & steel pillars going from the foundation to the top of the building, is going to stay intact and skid along nicely ? Almost everything gets pulverised. There was 737 crash once where the biggest piece found wasn't bigger than the palm of your hand, nothing was recognizable, not even the engines.

They found what was left of the front wheel, the black box + lot's of pulverised debris in the pentagon.

When the plane hit and then exploded it created an enormous amout of pressure in the building, that pressure had to go somewhere and the weakest points of the structure have to fail first.

This comes from a program on National Geographic channel explaining all this and it was more interesting and made more sense that all that negationist pile of crap program on Ch4.

Ah now, I wouldn't necessarily knock a story merely because the source isn't something you're a fan of. That's how we all missed hearing about the secret energy deals in California (and it wasn't even indymedia that ran with that one). After all, sometimes even politicians are right.

In fairness, the part where the video tape never showed a plane crashing into the Pentagon etc. was a touch far fetched. I would almost have believed the story about the surface to air missile being fired, were it not for the hundreds of eye witnesses who SAW THE PLANE flying into the building.

I didn't see the C4 documentary, but has anyone seen Sky's one? It's on Sky One and Sky One Mix all this week. I didn't like it at all. There are some serious, legitimate questions about what happened, especially at the Pentagon. Sky's documentary only barely touched on these, and spent almost as much time on some ludicrous "phone masts being used as mind control devices" theory.

I was actually expecting SKY's one to be a lot better than it turned out to be
