    Played it.

    Wow.

    They seem to have the feel of it spot on. The models are great, the intro was stunning, the system works, the combat is messy and exciting, the heavy bolters make a wonderful chunky sound wheen they fire (two heavy bolter squads letting rip at once looks fantastic), and SWEET JEEBUS THE SQUIGGOTHS ARE HUGE!

    AND it's a nifty game to boot!

    Yea I have played it a fair bit too, seems rather samey though or something, but regardless very good fun, as hectic as you could possably hope for, and the feel of the Warhamemr universe is portraid perfectly IMO. However the campaign seems a bit uninteresting (and you only get to play as marines). However the game is still really really fun to play and worth playing.

    Its bloody great so it is.

    I didnt even read the stats on units, cause its just like the game, ie. dreadnought kills squad of orks with no rokkits easily.

    the bloodthirster is cool.

    the animations are by far the best ive ever seen in an rts

    It's a wonderful sight to see an Ork run through with a chainsword, then kicked off the blade by the Assault Marine that did it. :)

    For the first time since Space Hulk (win95 version) was released, we have a game that is based more on the "feel" of the W40k universe than a reproduction of the rules.

    I've not had much of a chance to play it in any great detail, but so far it is simply beautiful. And the intro is nothing short of orgasmic! It's nice to see something enshrined in footage that you had only ever imagined or seen in still imagery.
