    Hi,

    have just got a new computer and used to look at this site in work but am stuck. My kids managed to delete part of the address bar toolbar that allows you to type the web address in eg http://www.etc I have tried everyhting to get it back and cant. have windows XP and have checked all toolbars and explorer bars and customise options and cant find it. have been able to install a msn search field but would rather the way it was!!

    anyone any ideas??

    View->Toolbars->Address bar or RightClick->Address bar?

    I wish it was as simple, have tried that loads of times, I have the address bar active and have search, favourites, back etc but its the part where you can directly type the website address that has gone and no further options to add or to customise???

    if you right clicky on the tool bar is Lock The Toolbars checked - if it is uncheck it and see if you can move the tool bars until you can see the address bar??

    EDIT: OR why dont u remove everything standard buttons etc and then just add the address bar and see if you can see it! ;)

    Try Firefox if you can't find your URL bar again.
