History problem?

Ok,here's the deal.

Everytime I finish on the net I delete my cookies, temp internet files, and my history. However, despite this, there are still some URLs showing in the address bar (for eg if I reconnect later and begin to type Http://www. in the address bar then some URLs still show up).

System Restore is conveniently not working for me,I just keep getting a "System Restore Incomplete" error no matter what restore point I try to use, which is very odd considering I performed a System Restore last night with no problems whatsoever

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Any help is much appreciated,
Cheers
Si

Turn auto-complete off or manually clear it (or clear it in Tools->Internet Options->Content->Auto Complete).

Best advise really is to use Firefox browser instead!

Davmigil's suggestion should've worked IMO but it didn't do nowt :S

Ciaran,Window Washer is most definately finding the URLs in the registry and tells me it's "washing" them, but it isn't.They're still there, and if I re-boot the prog and try re-washing the same things are being found :S :S :S

This is messin' with my head

Any more suggestions?

Cheers for the help so far, much appreciated.

Have a look around www.download.com. You should be able to find a demo of some software to properly delete you history.

Will do mate

It's weird though,it appears to have disappeared (wahey!) and everything'll look fine. But then I'll open up a new window or summit and it'll magically have re-appeared.

Cheers for the advice Ciaran
