Quickpark - Dublin Airport

I'm flying out of Dublin Airport next month and planning to use the Quickpark www.quickpark.ie carpark for 2 weeks. It will work out about €30 cheaper.

Has anyone used it before ?

Is it secure ? And are the buses to the terminal on time ?

    Feedback appreciated.

I used it before and have no complaints. It's got CCTV all over the place and there's staff on duty 24 hours a day. Buses are very frequent as well. Only tiny problem is the bus doesn't drop you outside the door of the terminal but rather at the far side of the car park, so it's about a three minute walk to the terminal from there.

I used it before, I guess it's secure because I forgot to lock/alarm the car in my rush to catch a plane, and it was fine. Buses are fine too, in my experience.

I've used it a fair bit. The first time it was a disaster - long delay between shuttle buses. After that it was superb; in fact, the driver was the only one with information on an airport strike/go-slow (no one in the airport could give information about planes coming in from Heathrow, but the driver could), and on the way out of the airport, he was going away round the roundabout and *came back for us* when he saw us waiting.

Plus the charges are lower than the Aer Rianta ones.

Not necessarily. Fair enough they might be monitored, but you are responsible for insuring your property, they won't take any responsibility. Note that jet noise has the habit of triggering some alarms.

You can get quite a few busses to the airport. Dublin Bus (16A, 230, 33, 41, 41A, 41B, 41C, 46X, 58X, 746, 747, 748), Aircoach (Stillorgan & Port Laoise), AerDart (DART Howth Junction), Urbus (Castleknock-Blanchardstown Shopping Centre-Swords), BusEireann (everywhere), JJ Kavanagh (Tramore and Waterford), Ardcavan (Wexford), Bus Nestor (Galway), CITYLINK (Galway).

Used it on Saturday/Sunday, and t'was a breeze. There's a bus every 15 minutes to the terminal according to the website, but I arrived as one was pulling away and another was taking on punters which was nice. Two minute wait and away with us as well.

Plenty of staff around, and you're guided to a specific parking area rather than just partking any aul place.

Arrived back Sunday morning to find a bus waiting behind the multi-storey, and we were whisked back in jig time. Driver dropped me at the end of the row I was parked in (he asked me rather than the other way round), €7 for a day and 2 hours parking can't be beaten with a sh*tty stick.

I too have used it before and would recommend the place. Lot cheaper than the long term car park in Dublin airport.

Used it before and was happy because it cost me less than Aer Rianta's one. Infact I found it handier to get to than the Aer Rianta one.

Isn't this a fairly huge problem if you're carrying lots of bags & cases? [With apologies for dragging up an old thread....]

"The other side of the car park" whilst technically correct makes it sound miles away.

It's only the opposite side of the short term car park building, couldn't be more than 100 feet away from the terminal building. You get off the bus, walk right through the building and into the terminal.

Major saving versus the DAA car park.
