    Please help lads-

I brought my work laptop home and tried to connect to my home network (workgroup MSHOME)

In work we use a domain so i went to network id and changed from a domain to a workgroup called mshome and then rebooted

but now i cant login to windows as my password depends on the domain being the same.

Please help - how can i login to windows and change back my domain...

    thank you

If it is a work laptop your IS department will have an admin account on local to log into it to change back! also try to log into the machine locally and not across a LAN/Workgroup and you should be able to access the system

My login box in windows doesnt show the domain text box so i cant specify any domain other than the work one.

I need files off the hard drive so im gonna buy a 2.5" to ide converter and get my stuff. I can get the rest Ghosted back next week. I cant wait until then for those files though
