    new york pooters demanded! ;)

    anyone know what computer stores are in new york?
    i was in california last year and fry's electronics was deadly.
    i'm going over to new york in a while
    and might pickup a graphics card or somethin.
    just want to check prices before i go.

    anyone got a website for a place in NY?

    There is CompUSA stores in Manhattin. Apple store in the Village is a must for all computter nerds (amazing place). Avoide all shops loaded up with gear in the windows, there prices are nasty and they are serious tourist traps.

    IF you know sombody over there you could order of any US site and get it sent to them and collect when you arrive...

    do i have to pay tax,
    or can i claiM it back, like you can when you visit ireland?
    what is the tax rate?
