    Howdy,

Jus saw an old thread about Jeff Buckley there and could'n believe that nobody had Havn't You Heard Down or The Sky is a Landfill down as their favourite jeff song's!! If anybody hasn't heard these song's i reccomend you quit whatever your doing at the moment and get yourself to a music shop to buy Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk its got to be his best album. And not even Vancouver got a mention.....crazy! Any Jeff fans want to add their favourites to this??

this man serves a great point... "the sky is a landfill" is a fantastic song... but i must say jeffs version of "satisfied mind" on cd2 is the highlight... its so brilliant. "Kangaroo" live is probally my favourite song though, or maybe even "moodswing whiskey" live... its a pity his mam is still milking his death , i think that "songs for no one" cd was terrible, and this new "grace legacy edition" is bull****... make a dvd documentary with interviews and live performances, and leave him rest in peace.

I totally agree that 'Satisfied Mind' is the highlight of Sketches for my Sweetheart the Drunk, but how can anybody argue that it's his best album? Grace is head and shoulders above his posthumous offering.

I honestly did listen to Sketches with a completely opened mind, and yet I will always think of it as an album that Jeff may or may not have approved of. We will never know how any of those songs would have turned out with further work, or if Jeff would even have selected them for his album had he lived.

Afraid i don't agree with that at all, Grace is an absolutely fantastic ablum but the complexity of some of the stuff on Sketches is mind blowing. Its a pity that some really experimental songs got on the album that should have been left off though. Has to be said that that was a good call with Satisfied Mind. Witches Rave is another gem on that album and the beautiful I Know We Could Be So Happy Baby.
