    Lads
Put in an early request in hope for tickets, I will consider what ever you can get as I have been allocated in our house as chief ticket getter, well that was before we found out that we cannot buy on the internet this time around, why they stopped this is beyond me.
I am not part of a GAA club so I cannot follow that route.
SO, if anyone has any spares I would appreciate it if you would consider me for the tickets, it would be like something that would happen that we would go and win the All-Ireland and me sitting at home in Mayo!!

On a side note it is a shame that people who attend the league matches do not get a precident over others for tickets, myself and my da attended all bar one league match this year and it looks possible that we will not get to the All-Ireland. If there was a credit based system then we would get one no bother!
    Just a side note!! ;)

I think it may be hard to get tickets for the final, I'm looking outsite the county and the moment and its looking good, I think i can get 2.
best of luck in your search yop.

your right about the people that go to all the league matches i.e the real fans, should get first option on the tickets.

    UP MAYO.

Tickets never go on public sale for All Irelands, so there was never any chance of tickets being available on the Internet.

As with most years, if you're not a member of a club or dont some somebody with connections, it'll be very tough. The best way is to trawl the pubs on the day of the match. There will be people with spares who will be trying to sell to genuine fans.

    hey,
sure i'll join the list too, i'll gladly accept any spares.

btw, if the worst comes to the worst, is there any particular pubs that you're more likely to get a ticket in. there was an article in todays times mentioning some, Barrys hotel and Hill 16.

Im curious, how are tickets allocated for the All Ireland. Someone told me the competing counties get large allocations then every county gets some which they usually trade to other counties. County boards then distribute them to clubs which do as they like. Is this true?
    Do tickets go abroad?
If I were to set up a club, would we be given ticket allocations?

Did not yet get a ticket and since there seems to be most of the country heading up without a ticket any tips based on experience on what /not to do when buying a ticket off non official source, never bought from a tout or that so not a clue.

    Cheers

A colleague of mine yop is heading to the mini 7's tomorrow in Kilmacud. He doesn't know how true it is but was told that you would often come on a ticket there. Worth a shot I suppose. I was in the TF last night where there was a big MWR production on for the game with 1,000 people at it. During it, Kieran McDonalds father was interviewed on the stage and had a swipe at the county board about the lack of tickets for genuine supporters. He got a huge round of applause after it and the presenter just changed the subject straight away. Good luck in your search

Cheers, fair play to him, he is dead right. County board are a disgrace. What ever they gain by given al the corpo boyz tickets will lose out BIG time when all us genuine boycott the league.

Hill16 has been split into 3 distinctive parts Hill A, Hill B and Nally Terrace, no movement will be allowed between sections and tickets are clearly marked with section name.
I have got a Nally terrace ticket from Kerry, which I am very grateful for. Does anyone know if Nally terrace tickets are floating around Mayo?
Even though I have no problem with the Kerry fans and I am aware that there will be a lot of swapping prior to the game I would be much happier if there was an equal mix of Mayo in there.

I'm afraid there are no tickets of any kind floating around Mayo por. I've never seen such a scramble. Did you get any reply from the Mayo County board?

When I say floating around I mean tickets that clubs have got and have been handed out etc, not nesessarly ones that are 'spare'. No reply from county board, no surprise either, any more news on that item ??

Nothing. The board are getting a bashing from genuine supporters, and rightly so. A lot of people have been at most if not all of the games this year (league as well) and can't get a smell of a ticket while fairweather fans have theirs secured. I'm resigned to the fact that my view will be from the Hogan Stand, courtesy of an RTE camera.
