Sky+ Planner Reads 90% free even tho....

    Hi all,
    My Sky Plus planner is reading 90% free disk space even though ive deleted all programs that were on it... any ideas why and on how to remedy this?

    there's a new feature on Sky+ with the latest software update that allows you to clean up any missing free space. It's in the installer menu. Not 100% sure of how to get to it though. Something like 4,0,0 Select on remote when in the Setup menu. I'm sure someone will be able to tell you exactly.

    I am not at home now to test it but I think it is 4,0,1 and select from the services menu then select housekeeping.

    Yes, it is Services-> 4 -> 0 -> 1 -> Select to get into the installers menu.

    Select planner rebuild.

    I had a few thing in my planner that added up to about 30% but the free display was only reporting 47% space. I ran the planner rebuild and afterwards it reported that there was 72% free.

    Housekeeping deletes everyhing on the disc whereas planner rebuild doesn't afaik! Have done lots of houskeeps as I have upgraded to a 120 Gb disc - it's great
