According to an item in the Market Section of the SBP to-day:
John Doherty, the chairman of Comreg, and senior executives from Smart Telecom, E-net, Perlico and Aurora will take part in a First Tuesday debate on the telecoms sector on Septemeber 14. The debate will cover the topics of telecoms deregulation, broadband provision and Eircom's planned entry to the mobile market.

Would this not be an ideal opportunity for IOFFL, to raise its profile among the business community, and tackle some of COmreg's bulls**t head on ? If IOFFL can't get invited to participate in the discussion proper, perhaps some members could raise the points from the floor ?

We're already aware of this First Tuesday meeting. We'll do our best to have someone there.

I can't help smiling about the fact that the First Tuesday debate is occurring on the Second Tuesday.

    There's a message there somewhere :D
