hey im in lanzoroti which i cant spell right and was wondering if it would be legal or easy for me to import a sword

dunno,my dad just came home from spain and he brought me back a sword,
afaik its ok once its not sharpened and you dont carry it in your hand luggage

we asked or rep and he said we cant but mabye hes just making sure we dont get arested

i think its illegal to bring them into ireland,not for them to leave spain,
so stick it the middle of a big bag and wrap it up in towels or something

is it sharpened or does it have a cert saying its ornimental. if you have paperwork classing it as an ornimant, it should be, ok -maybe declare it and show paperwork- in your luggage, just dont bring it in your carry on, or it will be taken off you. if in doubt, ring customs in airport and find out, or else just post it to yourself

edit: if it isnt certified as an ornimant or novilty, then it is classed as a weapon and is illeagal to being back AFAIK.
