Ok im overclocking my 9600Pro using AtiTool and ive got it up to bout 500Core and 340Mem running nice and stable, thing is i dont want my graphics card running like this all the time. There is meant to be a way to change the settings depending on what you are running (game or windows) but even after using this it doesnt seem to work.It just stays constantly on the OC'd speed.Any ideas. Im sure that the card is unlocked as ive checked my the speeds of the card during games and they are holding up. (it says that the 9600 card could be locked and may not hold its settings after playing a 3d dependant prorgram, and may just revert to normal settings, but this doesnt seem to be the prob as the monitor on Rivatuner shows). Can anyone help?

I've have never been able to change the clock speeds automaticly with ATItool. It does have profiles that can be changed with hot keys. You should try them.

i tried the hotkeys, they only work when atitool is running on the desktop for somereason.i might uninstall it, and try rage 3d

If you run ati tool, then minimize it it dissapears to system tray and only uses 836K system resources.

To change on the fly you need to save each setting as a profile then set a hot key for each one.
To change the settings on the fly you need to clikc the "change settings when slider is moved" option.

I use Ctrl and Keys ie Doom profile is CTRL+D Normal is CTRL + N

you can set Ati to load on windows with your N setting too , its all in the options.

Use Radlinker to OC to your tested levels. Then right click the game you want individual settings for, click Create Radlink, and then go to it's properties. You can set all of your card's visual preferences and Clock rates on a game by game basis this way.
