    Is there an environmentally friendly way to dispose of developing chemicals?

    If so where?

    in the photolab i work in we use a company called "guardian silver lining" but don't know how 'green' they are

    Yeah, we also use silver lining, they extract the silver before getting rid of the water,making it perfectly okay and safe etc...
    tbh if your only dumping small quantities, dilute them first and it should be grand, else try going to your nearest photo shop and asking them nicely can you get rid of it there, although I have heard some places actually do just dump the stuff??!!
