ok, im a coarse/pike fisherman, but a mate of mine got us a load of old, but good, sea fishing gear.
anyone with recommendations for the east coast
i used to fish wicklow pier years ago and it used to be a laugh, anywhere else?
    im looking for coalie, mackerel,
whatever, we'll be ledgering and using feathers...

    advice/suggestions as always...

i'd go for greystones, i head there alot with my mates, usually catch mackeral, a dog or two, some flat fish, and does be a great ol laugh,

but over the past 2 weeks or so not much has bit biting but i 'd still recommend it

would you reckon greystones pier or the beach?
i was at wicklow pier last week

we were there for high tide, i missed a good few bites on mussles...my mates were cathing little wrass and coalies and pollack, nothing too big though.
