yah heard this also. going to be a scaled down version of the a6. 200bhp 2.0 Tdi and 200bhp 2.0T on the way.

Yer, I posted a thread about it a while back, but there wasn't a whole lot of info to be found.

I'm sort of thinking about changing in 05, and was looking at an A4, but def won't be if there's a facelift on the way later that year. I'd imagine it will change the grille in line with the sportsback A3 and the new A6. Speaking of which, I saw only my second one of these on the road today. Are there not that many around, all the suit money having being blown on 5 series' earlier in the year, or am I just travelling the wrong roads? I like the grille, and the car looks a lot wider, haven't seen enough of it to have a concrete opinion yet though.

Nice1.

I'm not too impressed by it to be honest, the lines up the side of the car make it look like it has elements of a citroen c5, which is a horribly bland vehicle. I'm still a fan of the new grille, though it looks less effective on the A4 in those pictures, than it does on an A6 imo.

Yeah I'm sure about it myself... they've made the back end look a lot like a small A8. The front grille looks well apart from the sloped headlights.
