Mouse Problems

    Hey,

Recently my mouse has started to turn off at random times. It happens in windows sometimes and counter-strike alot but it never seems to do it in quake3 which is odd. I've an mx300 and i can see the light turn off when it happens but other times the light stays on but theres no movement. I've switched usb ports but to no avail.

My voltage monitor, also recently, is warning me that the "5vsb" voltage is too low but how could that affect my mouse?

Is it time to buy a new mouse? or is there an alternative. I'd rather keep this one because i like the shape and its not sold anymore. Thanks.

What kind of mouse is it?

It could well be a dodgy connector as it plauged me with an old MS Explorer mouse I had

Logitech Mx300. Yeah it seems like it could be a loose connection but i keep pushing it back in and nothing feels loose
