Looking to go late sept/early October. Any idea what the weather is like then in Greece?

Anyone have any suggestions as to where to go? I'll have the kid (2 years old) and he's not really into pubs and clubs yet.

Hi! I would recommend one of the greek islands - Kos! It is beautiful! Loads to do! You can have a quiet or mad holiday! The weather is due to be 26degrees at the end of September! I have been to Kos twice! It is a lovely island and the Greeks are lovely people!

I went boating around the Saronic islands just west and south-west of Athens. It's a fascinating area, less touristy, for the more discerning traveller and steeped in history.

None of the islands I visited had any major nightlife, which was a good thing. Hydra is an amazing little island, once owned by Venice in the 16th century, on which cars are banned - everything is transported by donkey. And don't mistake Poris for Paros; Poros is a beautiful island - quiet with good restaurants and scenic walks.

If you want to spend your time island-hopping slightly off the beaten track, the Saronic gulf is a nice place to visit.

The weather will be nice and warm, not unbearably hot but most likely sunny and t-shirt and shorts weather.

It's really tricky to say where though, what type of holiday do you want to have?
Show your kid sights like Delphi and ancient Greek sights, see whacky monasteries on giant tall needle rocks in Meteora or find a nice quiet beachy island with few people? Like Naxos, Mylos, Patmos and many others.

Actually I've heard good stuff about Hydra from many people. Apparently the only thing with an engine and wheels is the one bin truck.
