Ok before I start I want to say I don't have anything against black people, (referred herein as "the brother man" / "soul sisters").

    But.......

What is the story with all the gangsta rappers poppin up over dublin!
The other day me and bahairy were walking dow to UGC to catch a flick and we must of passed about 14 50cents and 5 ushers. It seems to me that every brother man in Ireland tries to emulate some style of black rapper.
I just think this is really really sad.
Why would they want to impersonate some crack smokin' wife beater from Harlem?, don't they realize that they got a culture /style and music of their own that is alot more original and ... dare i say it ... "fresh".
Also alot of soul sisters seem to think its a great idea to walk around in tiny miniskirts and wear 4kg of beads in their hair , well thats what they do in Rialto.

I think it's just stupid the way these people dress, it's neither practical or attractive. It's just silly!

what's your view? and don't pretend you didn't notice it yourself :D

p.s. i'm not exactly irish and i don't dres slike Lil' Jon

Yeah it is a bit strange alright.... But its the same the world over. No matter what country you go to, black guys have the same kinda look. Obviously I'm generalising for the purpose of this discussion. The one's that go all "gangsta" (ie velour tacksuits and the like) usually look a bit muppety, but the ones who tone it down with just the baggy jeans and that usually look mighty damn fine (NB: not many of those in Dublin I'm afraid...).

The biggest crime against fashion, forget that..... HUMANITY, is those absolute gobsh1tes who are skinny and white and try to dress like rappers. Anyone remember "pretty fly for a white guy"??

Don't get me wrong, I think sometimes people go over the top with it, but, I tend to be leaning towards that kind of style myself. I'm white too, my friend (don't wanna be a name dropper but...) Omero Mumba and I have a similar dress sense. I think it's pretty cool, and kinda fun. I don't like to be drawing attention to myself but sometimes I do go out kinda 'ghetto' as we call it. I'm kinda aiming for Pharrel Williams look, with the cap at an angle(sideways) etc. I mainly do it for fun, it's a bit of a laugh and as I used to be kinda shy it's fun to just get out and have some fun now.
