home insurance

    hey folks any one ever get house insurance.. just for their room in rented accom. what do you have to loko out for anything to remeber, wheres best to get it etc etc

    It appears to me that you want to insure your contents and your belongings. I assume that the landlord/landlady has the room itself insured. this is standard enough- ask any broker.

    Insurers will at most want 2 contracts (even then they are slow to separate contents from buildings) - they won't insure an individual room, but they will insure a limited number of separate people's contents in a shared houshold.
