heya trying to do some screen printing using photo emulsion so i have me set up but me 150watt just blew after a couple of hours of use...not consecutive... i put the bulb in an old desk metal lamp i had.... and it fits in neatly if you know what i mean, could it have got too hot in the setting and if i go over to the shops now and buy another bulb it'll just blow again?

You need to check the lamp. Does it normally work off a 150 watt bulb? You may be overloading it and if it does take one, then there is obviously some other problem. It could be the lamp or just a dodgy bulb.
