A number of Irish clubs use http://www.popdraw.com/ (which was developed in Ireland, I think).

In fact, if your club is affiliated with Tennis Ireland, you may be entitled to a free copy?

Yes I tried a demo version POPDRAW, and while great for strict tournaments it doesn't allow for the American/Round Robin games - the kind you would have on a club night.

POPDRAW does seem to the main bit of kit that clubs use in Ireland though.

For our club nights, we keep it nice and simple and use pen and paper. It's low tech and a bit slow to do the draw if there are a lot of people (c. 60-100), but it works and, given the fact that different people are running the tournament from week to week, we can't really give them access to the club PC for security reasons.

There's an irish tennis group at http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/irishtennis/ - you could try posting there, though it's pretty quiet...
