Can anybody please give me information on the hw90 trigger system. There is a small trigger towards the front of the trigger gaurd that Weihrauch call a safety reset catch. It appears to have no useful function on my rifle. Any info or diagrams are welcomed

No direct experience with the HW90 but..

When you click the safety off, is it possible to put it back on again without this catch?

Alternatively, break barrel airguns usually have a "bear trap" catch to prevent pulling the trigger with the barrel open, sometimes this can prevent you from opening the barrel after releasing the safety but not firing, meaning you have to fire the shot to clear the gun - does this happen on the HW90? If so, this catch could be to release that?

You could always send the nice people at info@weihrauch-sport.de an email. Ask them for the user manual, most gunmakers will suppy this free of charge.

Thanks, but I already tried the manuals - no good. The safety can be reset by fully cocking the barrel again so I dont have to waste unnessecary pellets but it can be hard to do so in cover.
