hi hope this is a right place to post this,
have a problem with norton system works 2004, i can not launch it from the desktop the start menu or its own install dir, have contacted them about this but the help the gave was usless, what puzzles me is i can run anti-virus and one button check up as a scheduled task!!, tried reinstalling it and it worked that day but now getting the same problem again, oh if it helps the error code i recieve is as follows:

16 bit ms-dos subsystem
C:\documents and settings\all users\desktop\norton systemworks.link
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
Cs:055b IP:0115 OP:ff ff ff ff ff 01 Choose close to terminate the application

hitting ignore just give me the same error a few times with different numbers

any help suggested would be greatfully accepted
