Doh! I thought it was next week. I have met the guy who'se doing it a few times, and according to mutual friends, he is quite good - he does a bit of Billy Connolly and Denis Leary (i.e. Bill Hicks Lite :D ) as well

Oh God that's all we need - tribute comedians.

    What's the point?

Yeah - it was all a bit karaoke (hell I suppose that was the point) . Bill Hicks was an excellent comedian - one of the best ever in my opinion but Thursday night just felt a little sad. The guy who actually performed Bill Hicks had pretty good delivery and I just wonder if he might be better off performing his own stuff but if you want to hear Bill Hicks put on Rant in E-minor don't head along to these types of shows.

Oh, and the people booing David Letterman was just pathetic. Bill Hicks has been dead for over 10 years get over it .... he did.
