Posted on the thieves board, but should go up at our site as well with any replies. I think the kit is quite possibly the most under used item.

I'm just curious, apart from trying to hide your real name, has anyone used the kit to pull off anything intresting?

Here's some myself and our guild has done.

1: Pretended to be NPC escorts and loot the person who is supposed to be bringing us to the destination. This is handy because if you give the person enough of them, s/he lets you get close to them while your spamming.

2: Pretend to be a healer and say "Thou art a Criminal, I will not ressurect thee" when a ghost walks up. No purpose except to mess with peoples heads.

3: Dress up as a guard and whack a guild member with a hally when they are at 2-3 health and scream "Thou will regret thine actions! Swine!". Everyone assumes he got guard whacked and loot like crazy. This actually catches out semi-vet players as well (so there are good pickings).

4: Dress up as the Broker and see if anyone is stupid enough to hand you a deed.

5: Dressed up as Town Crier and did "hear ye! Hear ye! There is an [insert event] at [insert location]!". Helps if you have a group of PK buddies sitting at location and another friend opening up a gate for the unsuspecting people. Or just put the gate to some island. smile.gif

6: Pretend to be part of a Computer run quest. I dressed up as an NPC, zero karma. I sat in the tailors shop in Delucia and pretended that I had to see the king on urgent matter, but if only I had an escort. I got one guy checking me out, so I threw out the NPC "huh? what are you saying" type messages (I have them all macro'ed smile.gif after a while he believed I was part of it. So from Delucia he led me to Britain, I looted him along the way. When we got there I said I would bless a weapon for his help, so he gave me a magic black staff and I said "So long sucker" and stealthed off. Should of heard the expletives. smile.gif

7: Pretended to be the banker to mess with people when they said Balance. I'm sure there is a con you can do here.

8: Event invasions. The whole guild once dressed up as Orcs to get into a event, even acted out as Orcs through most of the event. The real orcs showed up and thats when we started looting, then changed disguises and clothes and everyone started killing anything remotely dressed like an Orc. smile.gif Whole thing acted as a nice distraction.

9: Kill the shephards at Delucia Cow spawn and dress up in thier clothes, then loot anyone who comes into that area. Some of our other guildmembers would wait for someone to attack them then change from crook to a poisoned Kryss. smile.gif Should see thier shock.

10: MC giving. Someone dresses up in the kit, while a new character starts with the same name. Pick the same clothes and hair and the loot hide, unhide the other person. when they kill them you give them a murder count. Works well in town as well for getting people guard whacked.

11: Blind begger. I've actually made some serious cash from this. smile.gif Werid, normally I walk around with a cane doing *tap tap tap* then when someone walks by I ask for a few gold pieces or some food (do a whole speel on having kids to feed and whatnot). sometimes someone gives me a large amount of cash or something nice. If not I just loot them ("Come closer so I can feel who I'm speaking to" O smile.gif . Came across some planned event with guards getting ready to hunt drow elves, I asked them for some change and they gave me 10gp. So for thier generosity I pretended I was part of the event and sent them off on a wild goose chase looking for drow elves (teach them to nice to blind people).

... that's about it. Anyone done anything intresting with it then?
