Sopranos on DVD

    OK, If this is in the wrong thread, kill me (or move it).

    CDWOW had Sopranos seasons 1-4 on region 2 & 4 DVD for €35.99, now they only have season 4. If you want seasons 1-3 you've got to shell out €80 for a region 1 version.

    I've tried all the other usual suspects like play.com, and it's the same everywhere. Does anyone know what the story is? have the region 2-4 been withdrawn to make us shell out more, or what?

    I found Seasons 1 - 4 on Pricestorm.com but they are £44.99 each and they're all 'temporarily out of stock'

    so, does anyone know what's going on? Have they been recalled in the run up to some sort of new edition or what? I can't find anything about it on google.

    They'll probably release a Season 1 - 5 boxset when Season 5 is released in November.

    Seasons 1 - 4 are available on a good few online stores but none of them are especially cheap.

    The cheapest they have the complete series digipacks is £44.99 (which is almost €80).

    Look here on cdwow where they have season 4 for £25.99. They used to have seasons 1-4 for this price, I got season 1 about 2 weeks ago, but when I went back to check today they'd disappeared with no explanation.

    Summat fishy going on.

    I was one of the lucky few to order both Season 1 and Season 2 for $36.99 - if I knew they would be going up I would have ordered all 4 packs :(

    Just ordered season 4 for the cheap price. So now I'll have seasons 1, 2 and 4 - but no season 3! From what I see of the two digipacks I have received, they are Australian products, say region 4 on the cover but not region 2, and they are completely different in packaging to the Irish boxed sets - much nicer I think, without any cardboard, a smaller plastic case.
