Display Problems

When I start up my computer it only starts in 4bit display It also displays this error message: RUNDLL ERROR LOADING C:\windows\system32\NvCpl.dll Initialization Routine Failed Any ideas? It wont allow me to set the display settings higher than4bit through control panel either.

Go into Windows in safe mode (hold down F8 while booting, or press it a few times), select Safe Mode. Go into Control Panel and remove the Nvidia driver. Boot up again (no error message this time), and install the latest driver off http://www.nvidia.com

Should work then.
