I will be soon doing my first build, hopefully next week!
I want to keep my cables as tidy as possible and came across this adapter from jes.
    http://www.jes-computer.de/product_info.php?pID=14717&MWbusiness=7b284e705bea418663f14d5d97adf29c

It connects to 1 power connector and has 4 extensions, but the wires are nicely wrapped and look neat.

I was thinking or running 2 hardrives, 2 case fans and a fan controller from this.

Is it ok to take all this power from one connector?

I have a hard drive and my gfx card on the one line. That takes quite a bit of juice.

The case fans and fan controller will use a negligable amount of current. It's the hard drives that count. I think you should be fine.
