Scart and Sky problem

guys changed the tele a while back as the last one decided one day not to turn on. Its all connected via scart but when i click the sky button or the tv guide button the tele changes to channel 0 insted of the AV scart channel. I then have to go looking for the tv remote to hit the AV button on that. I have a SKY connected…

I have a SKY connected (scart port 1) to TV via scart cable one.
i have sky scart port 2 connected to dvd player.

the tv is a cheap one but thats all i could afford.

how do i fix this?
