Strange EPG Behaviour

I was watching TV this morning, and I noticed some weird behaviour in the EPG. The listing itself was fine, but the panel that appears at the bottom (when you select a channel) had the wrong info in it.

For example: It was 8:40. I was in the EPG (where everything looked OK). I selected Ireland AM on TV3. The strip at the bottom said:

    Now: ... Programs begin at 7am ...
    7am: Ireland AM

(The current time was displayed as 8:40)

As I changed through the other channels, it displayed the correct information (for a split second), then jumped back to an earlier time (often showing the name of the previous program).

I tried plugging out the box for 30 seconds. After plugging it back in, the problem is still there.

    Anyone seen this before?

    - Dave.

i have had that myself lately. Perhaps it to do with the new software that is being downloaded to the boxes in the background for the new EPG, which is supposed to be a total overhual not sure when its to be launched though.

Ive noticed the EPG clock on my digibox jumping fowards and backwards before but Id put it down to the fact that the guy I live with uses it to watch foreign channels on Hotbird (time zones and such like)

Usually If I switch to a BBC channel or Sky news it sorts itself within a few minutes

Maybe TV3's clock is wrong I know there have been problems with video's-that-set-their-timer-by-teletext in the past at various times on RTE, UTV and even BBC2
