    E4, C4 and Discovery use the same wave lenght or something according to NTL. thus when E4 is bad so are the others.

    But that's no excuse for it! I'm on Chorus and have the same problem. Worst thing is I'm also paying Sky for Digital but can't do without ITV or CH4. Stupid catch = huge bills. :mad:

    Well I'm in the City Centre and it's not so bad as it was. However, when I used to live in Sutton, right next door to ya, it was utterly dreadful! I think it's somewhat of a localized problem. We complained to NTL before but nothing ever really came of it. It's still bad often when I pop back to Sutton.

    Not really localised, no. I'm in Glasnevin and E4/C4 were running in a fuzzy black and white picture last night.

    C4 never gives any problems for me.

    But....

    <RANT>
    E4 is always either

    a) picture not synched with the vocal.
    b) crap reception
    c) cropped, ie it's in 4:3 when it's quite evident it should be at least 14:9 as you can only make out the 'ew' from 'brand new' in the corner of the screen.. I'd love to know who's responsible for that neat little f*ck up!

    </RANT>

    BTW I subscribe to Chorus (not by choice)..

    Kevin.

    There are two e4 transmissions on ntl, the new one on UHF might be better now for some people. A quick scan on the tv might be in order.

    I do hope all of those complaints only refer to analogue NTL, cos if digital NTL has those problems, they'll never be able to persuade people to sign up. Greedy as Sky may be in terms of subscription charges and other finicky items (phone line connections etc), you have to hand it to them, they offer a first-rate service in quality (picture quality anyway!) terms.

    I live in Shankill, I'm with NTL, and C4 and E4 are frequency snowy. It's irtatating.
