Hi All, posted a question yesterday in http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=182206 . Tried pulling all the cards, re-inserting the old grapics card, no luck though. Anyway, was onto Overclockers asking them if there were any x800xt's likely to be in stock sooner than the one I ordered & they said they'd put me down for a OcUk one -> http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X800_XT.html . Never heard of them though, are they their own brand or do they get them somewhere else? Went to check out the specs and was brought to ATI's product spec page on the X800 XT so that wasn't much good.

Anyone ever heard of them or know any reviews?, I'd hate to get fobbed off with a second rate card for the sake of a couple of weeks and no difference in cash.

Never heard of a online shop having branded gfk cards before. Do a google search to see if there are any reviews or buyer feedback. If that dosent work just buy a 6800 GT lol.

Yeah I know, sent them a question asking the manufacturer, didn't like the way they just switched my order to that one without confirming it. I'd asked if another brand was releasing earlier than my order (ASUS) than to let me know as I'd be interested in getting it, they promptly changed me to ocuk. Checked google, didn't come across anything so far (in work as well so can't look too much ;) ).
Was thinking hard about 6800 GT/Ultra versus X800XT, opinion is clearly divided on the 2 but ATI seems to be ahead by a nose at the moment :p

Knowing OcUK they'll tell you anything to get a sale out of you (read the computer components shops sticky for my experiences). Wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole tbh.

Just had a look at the forum, didn't see any info on the brand, appears to be an awful lot of people in queues waiting for the cards regardless of brand though :(
