I bought a new boss pedal today cause it was cheap! A turbo distortion DS-2. I heard a sweet jazz guitarist who was playing through one the other night so when I saw it on sale (about 40e) I couldnt say no. Anyone any views on whether its good or not????

And if any starts commenting and saying metalzones are better they can go and shove one up there ass!

I like the DS2. It's more versatile than a metalzone. Doesn't have the same low crunch though which is a pity. Something for Boss to think about next time maybe? They're a sweet distortion pedal though for anything but the heaviest stuff. Was thinking of picking one up myself. Where did you find one for Eu40? Might have to look into it.

In Bangkok in Thailand. Its 800quid to get there and back so it probably wouldnt be worth it. If you know anyone whos there though, I got it in the Discovery Centre in the Siam District. It was on sale too.
