Thats not bad. You have an eye for it otherwise you would'nt have thought to take the pic. The mic is a bit tight though...

    Oh, nice!
    Very nice! :D
    I like it a lot.
    The lighting is great.
The mic kinda looks out of place a little, but not too bad.
That chair looks really uncomfortable though. ;)

Now that i think about it.
Would you mind sharing with us how you took the photo?
I don't think you used a flash because of the shadow of the chair but the lighting doesn't look all that bright.
    Long exposure?
    Did you have a tripod?
    What camera did you use?

taken with my canon 300D with fixed focal length 50mm canonf1.4 lens

i couldn't move back even though i'd like to have got more of the mic in the shot. handheld shot whilst waiting for a band to come on stage

Yes, that picture works. I actually like the mic in there, without it it's just a picture of nicely-lit two chairs. But here it looks like a stage and you then fill in a lot more of the detail with your mind.

The mic actually helps to balance out the large shadow in the opposite corner, that's the effect it has for me anyway.

    Well captured.
