Lines across flatscreen CRTs

    I've read that Trinitron and Diamontron flatscreen CRTs have 2 faint lines across them which are shdows of the wires holding the apeture grilles up. I'm about to buy a Diamontron monitor, so I'm wondering how noticeable these lines are, and are they annoying? Would it be the case that you'ld only notice them on a pure white background?

    I have a Trinitron and the lines are only noticible if you look for them. They are very very thin.

    I have a 32inch trinitron for about a year. I've yet to see these line, but I've never looked.

    Holy crap how much did that cost:p! Are you happy with it? I've been thinking of replacing my LCD with a good CRT because LCDs suck compared to CRTs, what refresh rate can it do at 1600*1200?
