I know its early enough, but i usually start looking out for christmas presents about now for children. Just toys, games and childrens stuff really.
We could do a seperate thread for clothing or adults presents?

So have you spotted any toys or games going cheap, that would be a bargain? It doesnt have to be online, so if your passing smiths or a toymaster etc, please posty any bargains yousee.

I bought Colm McCrey for the GBA for just £9.99 on Play.com
I bought Super Bubble Pop also for GBA on cd wow for £12 or was it 12.99 sterling.

Argos are offering 2 bundles, the better value one is €200 with xbox, 3 games and steering wheel for €199.

Gamestop .ie have a couple of bundles. the one that caught my eye was
X-box, 2 controllers, full price game of your choice+ €50 in vouchers for €199

That may be the bundle i go for, unless the new game.net bundle with the crystal xbox is good (out on the 8th according to their website!)

Crystal X-Box is out again now, I've seen them in Xtravision and in Smith's. Major difference is there's only one controller. Base package is 150 quid, but most places have 'packages' where you can get a specific game cheaper if you buy it with the xbox, etc.

    Dear all,
any idea about the typical lead time of delivery from the UK to Dublin with
    The Bookpeople,
any experiences of delivery after placing an on-line order would be appreciated.

Cheaper on Sendit.com I think. Was 20eu each last time I checked. For the bigger kids Family TWO seasons is about 20-25eu for both.

Tesco are offering buy one get one half price (full price is €14.99) on games like Monopoly and presumably other Monopoly-like games (didn't notice what others they had but presumably some of the usual board games)

That's assuming that kids play board games any more, though Tesco are hoping that they dio.
