Anyone purcahsed one of these and fitted to their car? Looking into them at the moment and would like to know how good they really are before purchasing. Don't need anything fancy with cameras or screens - just a simple beeping noise would do!

Sellotape a small cat to the bumper - it should give you sufficient warning to prevent you bumping in to anything.... :D

(More seriously if your rear visibility is bad get one of those lenses that goes in the back window or a reversing mirror.)

Test drove a Renault Scenic with one fitted and it was very strange
reversing waiting for the slow beep to become a continous beep.
I'm sure one will get used to it.
Going for a Zafira instead with the "Park pilot" as an extra at 500 Yoyos.
Whether it will be cheaper over time then waiting for the other half to reverse into something and pay the repair cost remains to be seen.
